What Is Your Education Discount?

We offer a 50% educational/academic discount for those who study or work at a qualified educational institution.

A qualified educational institution is one that has been accredited by an authorized governmental agency for the primary purpose of teaching enrolled students.

Institutions That Qualify

Qualified educational institutions include all accredited public or private schools, including:

  • Middle schools and high schools
  • Junior colleges
  • Colleges, universities, and technical schools
  • Homeschool programs that belong to a nationally recognized homeschooling body (or one that’s expressly recognized by a local school governing body as an acceptable alternative to an accredited educational institution)

If you qualify, you will need to contact us here with documentation of current educational/academic participation in order to obtain your 50% discount coupon redeemable in the Relab store here.

Organizations That Do NOT Qualify

The following types of organizations are not qualified educational institutions:

  • Non-accredited educational institutions
  • Training centers
  • Churches, hospitals, health care systems, and public libraries
  • Research laboratories
  • Retraining programs

If your organization does not qualify, you can contact us to discuss a partnership agreement here

Education Discount Restrictions

There are a few things to keep in mind when applying for an educational/academic discount.

  • Educational/academic licenses are NOT transferable.  Once purchased, they will be locked to your iLok account.
  • The 50% educational/academic discount is only available on purchases of perpetual/permanent licenses, and can NOT be applied to subscriptions.
  • Education/academic discounts can NOT be applied to SALES items in the Relab store.  In other words, discounts can NOT be combined.  For example, if an item is on sale at 25% off, you can NOT apply a 50% educational/academic discount for a combined 75% reduction off the regular price of a particular product.
